COMPANY HISTORY

1959
robertson heating opens
Prior to starting the company, Paul Robertson worked for Montgomery Wards in the plumbing and heating department as a furnace salesman. Eventually, Paul purchased one of Montgomery Ward’s furnace installation companies and proceeded to open Robertson Heating out of his garage in 1959.

1960
wHEN HARRY MET PAUL
Harry Morrison was the founder and sole employee at Morrison Heating. Paul crossed paths with Harry during a service call to his own house and shortly after contracted Harry for gas furnace service at Robertson Heating.

1961
ROBERTSON mORRISON, INC., WAS FORMED
Paul and Harry combined businesses to form Robertson Morrison, Inc. The company initially focused on residential work, but due to their early success, opened their commercial HVAC division in 1962.

1982
Frank Johnson Purchases Company
Frank Johnson joined the company as an estimator while attending graduate school at the University of Michigan School of Architecture and purchased the company in 1982. Frank then grew the once eight-employee company into a multi-division operation.

2019
Brent Johnson Purchases Company
Brent Johnson joined Robertson Morrison in 2016 as Service Manager and purchased the company in 2019. Brent earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and is using his background in operations management, project management and Lean Six Sigma to further grow the company.
We continue to work with Robertson Morrison, Inc because they have excellent communication at all levels of the staff, experience in the projects we take on, and they always solve problems in a proactive, efficient, and low-impact manor.
